Visiting the National Dahlia Collection at its home in Cornwall
Following the recent wet and windy weather the display garden now looks distinctly autumnal and so we are now formally closed for the 2012 season.
However, if you are passing and can accept that things are not at their best and that we may not be about, you are welcome to walk around the garden even if the gate is closed.
We are planning to lift and replant the garden later this year but will still be on the same site. Given a better early season growing year in 2012 we hope to be open to visitors again in late July
The display field does not have mettled pathways so, whilst we welcome wheelchair visitors, that part of the visit will not always be straightforward.
